Ontario Equestrian has sent out a notice, that in their, and legal advise, optionion, the Ontario Governments "All facilities providing indoor recreational programs" includes public access to barns as well.
THEREFORE: We are Closed to the Public. Only owners/lessors may come to the barn, or your designates (as the animals still require regular care)
Lessons are Canceled until the State of Emergency is Lifted by the Ontario Government.
We understand this is a very strange/stressful time; our main goal, as always, is the health and safety of the horses and our clients.
As we all know, Horses require daily care. We have plenty of space to practice social distancing, yet still have people at the barn… there is a ton of space here, so enjoy the outdoors if you can… but please keep reading…
For example (but not limited to): - If you are experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, or sore throat that you do not come to the barn and encourage self-isolation - If you have travelled out of country or been to an airport recently, or been in contact with anyone that is positive for COVID-19 we ask that you do not come to the barn for a 14 day period upon your return home and encourage self isolation - We ask that you try to maintain the 1.5-2m distance between people who do not reside in your household. - If you require any more information or have questions, we encourage you to go the public health Ontario website
While it is important to us that our horses remain cared for and exercised, it is imperative for us to keep our riders and their families, especially those in vulnerable populations, safe. If you are unable to come to the barn for any of the above reasons, please reach out and we can assist you in arranging extra care for your horse/ make up lessons.
NOT all lessons listed will run; this is just the general list. As people are away, added for makeups, etc, could have an affect if a lessons run or not.
The number beside the lesson (if there is one) is the expected number of people in the lesson for that day.
If there is an 'i' icon; place mouse over the lesson to view more details
